Abouzar Anvari

AMNESTY TENURE NOTE

Abouzar Anvari was appointed as the commander of the IRGC’s Basij Resistance Sector Corps of Kermanshah county in December 2021. He remained in this position until September 2023. Gholamali Yarbeigi was subsequently appointed as the new commander of the Basij Resistance Sector Corps of Kermanshah county. A state media report indicates that, as of December 2025, Abouzar Anvari held the position of deputy head of Shahid Motahari College. However, Amnesty International was unable to find any information on the date of his appointment to that position or on any other positions he might have held.

Gholamali Yarbeigi. Amnesty names only the person who immediately followed the 2022 holder — later successors are omitted, and successors are not themselves on the 87 unless they also held a listed 2022 seat.
