AMNESTY TENURE NOTE
Alireza Madanifar (Madani) was appointed as the deputy commander of the IRGC’s Beit Al-Moghaddas Provincial Corps in November 2020. He remained in this position until October 2023, when he was appointed as the commander of the IRGC’s Ashoura 31 Operational Division, the main operational division of the provincial Shoda Corps of East Azerbaijan province. Jamshid Rezayee was subsequently appointed as the new deputy commander of the IRGC’s Beit Al-Moghaddas Provincial Corps of Kurdistan. Alireza Madanifar (Madani) retained his position as commander of the IRGC’s Ashoura 31 Operational Division as of 2026.
