Gholam Hossein Ammari was appointed as the county governor of Urumieh in February 2022. He remained in this position until February 2025, when Rasoul Moghabeli was appointed as the new county governor of Urumieh. Amnesty International was unable to find any information on any subsequent positions held by Gholam Hossein Ammari.
