Hessam Salahi

AMNESTY TENURE NOTE

Amnesty International was unable to find state media articles specifying the date of Hessam Salahi’s appointment as the FARAJA commander of Piranshahr county. However, state media reports indicate that by September 2020, he had been appointed to this position. In June 2023, he was succeeded by Younes Arjmand. Hessam Salahi was subsequently appointed as the FARAJA commander of Naghadeh county. He remained in this position until November 2025, when he retired.

IMMEDIATE SUCCESSOR

Younes Arjmand. Amnesty names only the person who immediately followed the 2022 holder — later successors are omitted, and successors are not themselves on the 87 unless they also held a listed 2022 seat.
