Hossein Maleki was appointed as the commander of the IRGC’s Basij Resistance Sector Corps of Kamyaran county by the then commander of the IRGC’s Beit Al-Moghaddas Provincial Corps of Kurdistan, Mohammad Hossein Rajabi, in August 2017. He retained this position as of 2026.
