AMNESTY TENURE NOTE
Keyvan Shafayee was appointed as the county governor of Kamyaran in September 2022. He remained in this position until July 2023. Kianoush Saghafinia was subsequently appointed as the new county governor of Kamyaran. State media articles indicate that, in November 2024, Keyvan Shafayee was appointed as the new head of Islamic Azad University of Kurdistan province. He retained this position as of 2026.
