AMNESTY TENURE NOTE

Reza Baniasadifar was appointed as the head of the Prevention Police of FARAJA by the former general commander of FARAJA, Hossein Ashtari, on 14 November 2022. He remained in this position until January 2024, when he was appointed by the current general commander of FARAJA, Ahmadreza Radan, as the commander of the Police and Protection Cohorts of FARAJA, a force responsible for safeguarding government buildings, sensitive sites and critical infrastructure, and providing security for political figures and officials. He retained this position as of 2026. Ali Moayedi was subsequently appointed as the new head of the Prevention Police of FARAJA.

Ali Moayedi. Amnesty names only the person who immediately followed the 2022 holder — later successors are omitted, and successors are not themselves on the 87 unless they also held a listed 2022 seat.

He retained this position as of 2026. Ali Moayedi was subsequently appointed as the new head of the Prevention Police of FARAJA.
