Samad Mohammad Alizadeh

AMNESTY TENURE NOTE

Samad Mohammad Alizadeh was appointed as the commander of the IRGC’s Basij Resistance Sector Corps of Boukan county in June 2022. He remained in this position until October 2023, when he was appointed as the commander of the IRGC’s Basij Resistance Sector Corps of Sardasht county, also in West Azerbaijan province. Sohrab Saidi was subsequently appointed as the new commander of the IRGC’s Basij Resistance Sector Corps of Boukan county. Samad Mohammad Alizadeh remained in his position as commander of the IRGC’s Basij Resistance Sector Corps of Sardasht county until June 2026. Amnesty International was unable to find any information on any subsequent positions held by Samad Mohammad Alizadeh.

Sohrab Saidi. Amnesty names only the person who immediately followed the 2022 holder — later successors are omitted, and successors are not themselves on the 87 unless they also held a listed 2022 seat.
