AMNESTY TENURE NOTE

Amnesty International was unable to find state media reports specifying the date of Shahram Kasani’s appointment as the FARAJA commander of Salas-e Babajani county. However, state media reports indicate that he already held this position in October 2022 and retained it until October 2025, when he was replaced by Elahyar Moradian. Shahram Kasani was subsequently appointed as the FARAJA commander of Ghasr-e Shirin county. He retained this position as of 2026.

Elahyar Moradian. Amnesty names only the person who immediately followed the 2022 holder — later successors are omitted, and successors are not themselves on the 87 unless they also held a listed 2022 seat.

Shahram Kasani was subsequently appointed as the FARAJA commander of Ghasr-e Shirin county. He retained this position as of 2026.
