AMNESTY TENURE NOTE

Kambiz Rostamnia was appointed as the FARAJA commander of Mariwan county in July 2020. He remained in this position until August 2023 when Tayyeb Mohammadi was appointed as the new FARAJA commander of Mariwan county. In August 2024, Kambiz Rostamnia was appointed as the FARAJA commander of Ghorveh county. He retained this position until February 2026, when he was succeeded by Vahed Mozaffari. State media reports indicate that Kambiz Rostamnia was subsequently appointed as the FARAJA commander of Sanandaj county. Amnesty International was unable to find a state media report announcing the exact date when Kambiz Rostamnia was appointed to this role. However, state media reports indicate that he has held this position since at least May 2026.

Vahed Mozaffari. Amnesty names only the person who immediately followed the 2022 holder — later successors are omitted, and successors are not themselves on the 87 unless they also held a listed 2022 seat.
