AMNESTY TENURE NOTE
Ali Azadi was appointed as the FARAJA commander of Kurdistan province by the former general commander of FARAJA, Hossein Ashtari, in December 2018. He retained this position until August 2025, when he retired. Yayha Elahi was subsequently appointed as the new FARAJA commander of Kurdistan province.
