AMNESTY TENURE NOTE
Ali Safari was appointed as the FARAJA commander of Saqqez county in April 2021. He remained in this position until September 2024, when he was replaced by Mohammad Sadegh Pirouzi. Amnesty International was unable to find state media reports regarding any subsequent positions held by Ali Safari.
