Yadollah Abroushan

AMNESTY TENURE NOTE

Yadollah Abroushan was appointed as the commander of the IRGC’s 3 Hamzeh Operational Division of the Shohada Provincial Corps of West Azerbaijan in October 2012. He remained in this position until September 2025, when he was replaced by Mir Mehdi Ghafouri. In December 2025, Yadollah Abroushan was appointed as the commander of the IRGC’s Shaheed Boroujerdi Operational Headquarters of West Azerbaijan. He retained this position as of 2026.

IMMEDIATE SUCCESSOR

Mir Mehdi Ghafouri. Amnesty names only the person who immediately followed the 2022 holder — later successors are omitted, and successors are not themselves on the 87 unless they also held a listed 2022 seat.

LATER POSTS (AS RECORDED)

In December 2025, Yadollah Abroushan was appointed as the commander of the IRGC’s Shaheed Boroujerdi Operational Headquarters of West Azerbaijan. He retained this position as of 2026.
