Hassan Karami

AMNESTY TENURE NOTE

Hassan Karami was appointed as the national commander of the Special Cohorts of FARAJA by the then general commander of FARAJA, Esmail Ahmadi Moghaddam, in July 2012. He remained in this position until October 2024, when he was appointed by the current general commander of FARAJA, Ahmadreza Radan, as the operations deputy of FARAJA. He retained this position as of 2026. Masoud Mosaddegh was subsequently appointed as the new national commander of the Special Cohorts of FARAJA.

IMMEDIATE SUCCESSOR

Masoud Mosaddegh. Amnesty names only the person who immediately followed the 2022 holder — later successors are omitted, and successors are not themselves on the 87 unless they also held a listed 2022 seat.

He retained this position as of 2026. Masoud Mosaddegh was subsequently appointed as the new national commander of the Special Cohorts of FARAJA.
